  • W.I. Coffee Morning - Saturday 27 March at 10.00 a.m. Farnley Tyas Bowling Club

    You are invited to the W.I. Coffee Morning on Saturday 27 March at 10.00 a.m. There will be stalls of cakes, produce, chocolates and gifts along "Out of Africa" jewellery, textiles and carvings together with lots of other great items.   Cost £2:50 (children free) which includes coffee/tea and biscuits.
     

  • Farnley Tyas entering "Yorkshire in Bloom"

    Farnley Tyas Comunity Group has entered the village of Farnley Tyas into the “Yorkshire in Bloom” 2010 event under the Small Village category. We hope very much that all residents would wish to become involved in this event. Spring judging dates are 22 March - 17 April  and then 5 July - 30 July. Farnley Estates, the Church, the School, the Pub, the Parish Council and Roebuck and Holmes have all been asked for their assistance. Please contact thesecretary@farnleytyas.org for further detail.

    Farnley Tyas Community Group meet each month on the first Wednesday in the month at The Bowling Club commencing at 7.15 p.m.  We would be pleased to welcome you to these meetings.

  • Farnley Estates Ltd - Scoping Report for Sustainability Appraisal of Farnley Tyas Village Framework

    Farnley Estates Ltd has published the Scoping Report for Sustainability Appraisal of Farnley Tyas Village Framework Plan, which has been sent to English Heritage, The Environment Agency, Natural England, Planners at Kirklees and Kirkburton Parish Council.

    The main consultation with Farnley Tyas community will be on the Sustainability Appraisal itself, and should take place later this year.
